About Medical Staff Services
The Medical Staff currently has over 265 medical and allied health staff members practicing within a large variety of specialties in inpatient and outpatient settings. The staff works diligently to provide excellent customer service and to uphold high quality standards in administering the credentialing process and supporting the Medical and Allied Health Staff. Administrative Staff ![]() Jennifer Stary Medical Staff Services (336) 476-2525 (336) 474-3484 fax Jennifer manages the Medical Staff Services Office. She is responsible for the credentialing of all physicians and allied health staff at Thomasville Medical Center as well as responsibility for the Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules & Regulations, Policy on Appointment, Reappointment and Clinical Privileges, medical staff organizational structure, and accreditation activities. She serves as support for all Medical Staff officers and department chiefs and has responsibility for all medical staff services functions. She handles the management of expired licenses/malpractice insurance as well as oversees bi-annual physician and allied health reappointment as well as annual evaluations for allied health. She serves as security liaison for all medical staff and allied health at TMC. ![]() Janice Berrier Medical Staff Services Janice works part-time in Medical Staff Services. Her duties include special projects and primarily working with ECHO, the credentialing software program that houses the database for all physicians and allied health practitioners.
Continuing Medical Education Staff ![]() Dr. George Bousaba CME Program Manager (704) 384-3425 (704) 316-0754 fax George manages the continuing medical education program for the Southern Piedmont and Triad regions which includes a wide variety of weekly and monthly course offerings. He also manages the accreditation requirements for the program. Medical Staff Relations ![]() Paul Welborn Manager Medical Staff Relations (336) 718-2115 (336) 277-0691 fax Paul manages the communications between administration and physicians. He is responsible for updating and informing physicians on current and future directives as well as working with physicians to foster and grow positive collaboratives . He manages Physician Vitals (monthly physician newsletter), State of Novant, MD Links and communications from sections, division and committees.
