Objectives:	To describe methods to improve patient care through the application of a multidisciplinary approach to managing thoracic disorders. To discuss new medical/surgical technology and research findings that may be applicable to thoracic medicine. To discuss actual patient outcomes, diagnostic findings, and treatment options related to thoracic medicine. To evaluate cases for potential treatment and availability of appropriate clinical trials.
