Target Audience: All physicians and healthcare professionals having an interest in the topic.
Objectives:
  • To discuss the ACLS science and to describe the BLS primary and ACLS secondary surveys.
  • To demonstrate the effective airway management, and the use of equipment and devices needed for the Code.
  • To describe the roles of team leader, members, and to demonstrate management of cardiac arrest as a team leader.
  • To evaluate special circumstances and other life threatening clinical situations that may precipitate cardiac arrest or stroke.
  • To demonstrate appropriate management of patient with acute coronary symdrome, tachycardia, bradycardia and pulseless arrest (VF/VT).
